Marc Probst studied law at the University of Zurich (lic. iur.) and completed postgraduate studies at the University of Miami School of Law (LL.M.). At the beginning of 2001 he was admitted to the bar and worked as a lawyer for 17 years, 11 of them as a partner, in a medium-sized commercial law firm in Zurich, where he advised private individuals and companies in the areas of real estate, aviation, banking & finance and mergers & acquisitions . He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Swiss Fund Management AG since 2016 and, as CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board, is now responsible for the operational business.
Marco Garzetti has founded and managed various successful companies. As a trained banker with a Swiss Federal Diploma, he first built up companies in the publishing industry after his training. In 1993 he founded the financial consulting and financial planning company BZ Berater Zentrum AG, of which he is still the owner and president. Subsequently, as an investment advisor and member of investment committees, he was responsible for the successful asset management of the assets under management. In 2009, he founded Swiss Fund Management AG, where he serves as Chairman of the Board and Head of Institutional Asset Management.
Tomas Suter, Swiss and Italian citizen, studied economics at the University of Zurich with a focus on banking & finance and obtained his master's degree in 2008. He also has a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Corporate Finance. After his studies, he worked in wealth management and asset management for more than seven years and was CFO of a Swiss fund and asset management company with several hundred employees across Europe . At the same time, he was involved in founding a fund management company. Tomas then turned to the real estate market and was CFO of a Swiss real estate financing and fund company with its core business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In his position, he was responsible for numerous real estate transactions with transaction volumes of up to EUR 500 million and for the launch and management of various real estate funds. He was also a member of the board of directors of German and Swiss real estate companies. Since 2018 he has been a partner in a Swiss real estate investment company with projects in various European countries and Switzerland.
Olivier Bill holds a Master of Science in International Business from Maastricht University.
In addition, he was selected for a one-year exchange program at L'institut d'étdues politiques (Science Po). Since 2020, Olivier Bill has been CEO of an independent, licensed Swiss asset manager with exclusively discretionary multi-asset mandates for domestic and foreign clients. The investment universe covers the entire range of liquid and private capital markets. Previously, he held various senior positions at Société Générale Corporate Investment Banking Global Market Switzerland for 16 years. He advised on cross-asset solutions for institutional investors. His responsibilities included asset management portfolio services and oversight, market and client risk management, product and investment suitability for all types of investment vehicles.
After completing his bachelor's degree in business administration, Florian Kneier worked primarily in IT companies such as IBM. In 2012 he came to BZberater Zentrum AG, where he trained as a financial advisor and worked in this position for 2 years. In order to make the best use of his good training, he switched to the back office. He is responsible for IT, accounting at Swiss Fund Management AG and controlling of capital investments.
Stephan Steinmann has worked in banking since the beginning of his professional career. He has acquired particular expertise in investment advice and portfolio management. He started out as an investment advisor at Bank Leu and was later responsible for looking after and advising institutional clients at Bank Vontobel. He was a portfolio manager at the IST investment foundation for employee benefits in Zurich and took over the operational management of the investment foundation as managing director in 1992. In 2004 he moved to Bank La Roche & Co AG, Basel, where he oversaw various special funds. Later he was managing director of La Roche & Co Asset Management AG. As Chief Risk and Compliance Manager and member of the Executive Board at Swiss Fund Management AG, Stephan Steinmann monitors the risks, processes and investments of Swiss Fund Management AG.
Roger Birrer is a Swiss certified business economist (HSW). He has around 30 years of professional experience in stock analysis and portfolio management. Roger Birrer worked as a financial analyst for Swiss equities for SOGEN, Julius Baer Brokerage Research and for SE Swiss Equities. As a portfolio manager, he was also responsible for equity portfolios at UBS Global Asset Management and Deutsche Bank (Switzerland). At Swiss Fund Management AG he is responsible for equity research and is Deputy Chief Investment Officer.
